A few years ago, a church in Milford, NH was faced with a difficult decision.

Do we renovate our historic building, with its easily visible and central location just north of the Milford Oval, right next to the Post Office?  The building that has served as our home for the large part of our 150+ years in the community.  But one that had challenges with heating, electricity, parking, among others…

Or do we build a new church building?  One that has air conditioning, parking, the space and equipment to do contemporary-style worship.  But which would also mean taking on the stress of a building project, being without a home during the construction, and a new mortgage…

This church decided to buy a parcel of land and build.  And we’re so glad we did.

As we approach our 10th anniversary at our new location, and our 165th anniversary as a church, Milford United Methodist Church wanted to celebrate.  But not by patting ourselves on the back.  We wanted to share the building, the grounds, the wooded areas of the new property with our community, and to use these gifts to glorify God and to help make the world a better place.

We sincerely hope you can join us in celebrating all of God’s gifts to us throughout all these years, and to help us share the gifts with which we are graced with those who might need them.
